PURPOSE DISCOVERY
SCRIPTURE: I JOHN 3 : 8
Purpose is why something exists and the reason for which why something is done. Discovery is to find information about something especially for the first time. Therefore, Purpose discovery is the result aimed of found action intentionally undertaken. you are born as a solution to a problem. when you did not discover why you are born, your life will be like a desert, but when you discover the purpose for which you are born, you have a vision and the process of pursuing that vision, you have a ministry, Deut 32 : 7 - 12.
When purpose is not discovered, abuse is inevitable. When a man does not discover his purpose in life, he will become black and dark, Song of Solomon 1 : 6A. A life without purpose will be disposed by the enemy, a life without purpose will be exposed to devil's disposition, but the day you discover your purpose, faith will arise.
HOW DO I KNOW HOW TO DISCOVER MY PURPOSE
1. The word of God, Lk 4 : 16 - 18, everything a man needs in this life has been embedded in the bible because the bible is the compass to a man's life, that is why II Timothy 2 : 15A said you should study to show yourself approved.
2. Your Talents and Ability, Matthew 25 : 15, you should be able to know what you are good at and you derive joy in it.
3. Your Environment: your environment is the condition that you live or work-in and the way they influence how you feel or how effectively you can work. There will always be a change to be made in an environment, so study your environment and find how you can upshot.
4. Prayer and Fasting, Acts 13 : 1 - 3, This life we are is full of hurdles, that is why we have to pray and fast to redeem our days in life. The bible made us to understand that even our Lord Jesus Christ prayed and fasted for forty days and forty nights in the wilderness. Prayer and fasting helps to grant direction and clearity.
5. Connection to your pastor, Jeremiah 3 : 15, 1 : 4 - 5, Your pastor is your spiritual father in this life, therefore you must maintain a cordial relationship with him.
